Art House is pleased and skeptical of being selected as the post audio vendor for David Roy’s Manos the Rise of Torgo. If you are familiar with the 1966 american horror film “Manos the Hands of Fate” written, directed, produced by, and starring Harold P. Warren, then you know that it is widely recognized to be one of the worst films ever made, according to Wiki and just about everyone’s who has seen it. Understand that it was shot on a 16mm Bell & Howell camera that could not sync sound, so every sound element was done in post including the dialog – poorly. So I guess we will too!
Many have tried to pull off a remake/sequel but have failed; I’ve known and worked with David for 4 years and if anyone can do it – it’s him. Stay tuned.
