Why Hire Us?
Long story short, we really, really care about recording dialog. We capture and deliver awesome location audio. Ask around.
***SPOILER ALERT*** Capturing and manipulating dialog to get that "Hollywood" sound is simple; learn the technique from the professionals, use the specialized equipment the professionals use, and solve every sound problem on set, then level, de-noise, dialog edit for a couple of hundred hours. We've cracked the code!

The Art House Sound staff not only kicks ass technically, they are also great collaborators in the film-making process. They turned up the production value volume on my last feature project big-time.

I engaged the services of Art House Sound to clean up the sound on my short film ‘A Mother’s Lie’.
I’d attempted to fix the issues myself and although I pride myself with an ability to learn any software I just wasn’t happy with the results so reluctantly I called Brian for help.
I only wish I had done it sooner as Brian used his expertise not only to fix the problem areas but he gave the film a complete sound design makeover. I am extremely happy with the result and would recommend Art House Sound without question.

Brian is an outstanding sound recordist, editor, Foley artist, composer and musician. He is an absolute joy to work with, and will do whatever it takes to give you the sound design that you’re looking for. Some people are good technically; some are more artistically-inclined. Brian is both–He just “gets” it.
Patrick Sane, Actor Next
Brian and the folks at Art House are great to work with! I have done so, both on set and in studio for ADR work, on multiple occasions. I am always happy to hear a production has hired Brian to design their sound for the film. Not only is he completely professional and always delivers an impeccable final product, but he is a lot of fun to work with.

Brian was an absolute dream to work with, especially considering the crazy situations he readily accepted in interest of getting the best take. Above and beyond is the best way I can put it, from production setup, all the way through post. If Art House was on the job, sound was handled!
Jacob Reynolds, Producer Next
I’ve worked with Art House Sound on several projects, including a feature film and several commercials, and have been very impressed with their work and professionalism both on set and in post production.
Dallas Box, Cinematographer Next
Art House Sound not only generates great sound, but they’re surgical when it comes to repairing other people’s screw ups. I thought I could get away with recording my own sound, and panicked when my client was very displeased with the product’s lack of sound quality. I came to Art House for help, and they were able to fix what I thought was completely unusable. Art House really saved the day, and my rear end!

Art House Sound have been a great help to me on my indie movie, All American Killer. Not only is the quality of the location sound excellent, but Brian and his team’s overall professionalism makes the whole endeavor more enjoyable. When we had a problem with an electric garage door opener that threatened to slow down shooting, Brian immediately starting working on the problem even though it wasn’t his department. That’s the attitude you want from people working on your film—especially an indie film with limited crew and resources. I highly recommend Art House Sound to any filmmaker.
Brian and the entire group at Art House Sound are incredible. I have used Art House for a variety of projects. For example, we shot a series of interviews at the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, TX. It was during one of the days prior to the opening of the event so there were forklifts and cranes all over the place and it was LOUD. I thought there was no way anyone would be able to hear the people speaking in these interviews. Nonetheless, Kent, our on-location sound engineer from Art House, assured us that we could save a lot of the audio in post production. After the shoot we sent the audio to Brian at Art House and what he sent back blew my mind. All of the beeping, engines revving, honking sounds were gone. The interview audio was incredible and the client was extremely impressed. We highly recommend using Art House Sound for any on-location and/or post production audio needs. They’ll knock your socks off.
